We know – and love – schools.
Owner/designer/printer, Anastasia Kierst, worked as an Elementary Art Teacher for 7 years, so she understands certain things. For instance, kids can be pretty tough on their clothes, so maybe lighter shirts aren’t the best idea (except for on field day, when dark colors are too hot to wear in the sun). Bright shirts help us stay together on field trips. Teachers are tired of wearing purple or teal shirts printed with the latest buzz phrase in Brush Script or Comic Sans. And pretty much everyone appreciates good design and a touch of wit.
Anyone teaching in Texas during the reign of the STAAR test will get a chuckle from Anastasia’s concept and design for the shirt on the left. The shirt was a big hit with students and staff and gave the kids a bit of a confidence boost just in time for the big test!
